Ever thought that they may use a region as a testbed as so to see if there are any problems lurking within the upgrade?

If you were to release an upgrade/update worldwide and there was a serious bug or glitch in it, there would be serious ramifications to reputation, but if you issue it region by region and then a serious bug or glitch appears, then you can stop or limit any further problems but pulling the release & limiting damage to reputation.

Yeah your point is valid but if updates have major glitches and bugs then whats the point of the update?? But then this is Nokia so i'll be shocked out of my skin if they release an update without any bug!!

Don't you get it we ppl are the guinea pigs...we are involved in testing...this is called real world testing!! Much better than simulation!!!

Anyway jokes apart I think of all major phone manufacturers Nokia has the worst firmware quality...they should really release a phone after they are more than 100% sure that there isn't any problem with the software

But the thing is out of all the major manufacturers I still think Nokia makes the best phones (hardware wise) and has the most features with good looks at the most reasonable rate so I still like Nokia more than others...if Nokia can tweak up their firmware issues then they have the potential to be like the next Microsoft of the mobile worl

Well, im not that impressed, but i have a bug that just wont go away, its my standby screen..

I cant use the app and empty one.

The buttons like numpad and contacts wont work, neither with the app-shortcuts.

They just show a blank textbox....

I Hope still there are lot of bugs in the new version V21, its regarding the flash player. flash applications are not working in full screen, and the extra keys are occupying lot of space in the screen. I hope Nokia will solve this issue in their next version or so..

To rid of the extra keys you need to go into Settings, then Application manager, Installed Applications, highlight the Applictaion, choose options and then Suite settings. Once in there change the On-Screen keyboard settings to Off. Hopefully that'll work.

i install NokiaSoftwareUpdaterSetup_en.exe but everytime wanna update i have some errors, like connenction failed!

i update my phone to v20 but in new version of nokia updater i cant update my phone, what can i do?

I have the same the problem with numpad, contacts and app-shortcuts! I just updated my phone to the newest v40.0.005 but the problem still lingers. Does anyone know any ways of solving this? It it really annoying when I have to save a new contact everytime in order to just dial a number.

just try to backup ur phone, hard reset it by using *#7370# and restore ur files

JFTR and in order to get terminology right so everyone uses the same names, the *#7370# code is a SOFT reset. A hard reset involves switching the phone on with the green, red and camera keys pressed.
