Haven't had a chance to try it myself. Just a heads up for everyone who is eager enough to try it.

E72 went from 30.something to 51.something so 61.something is feasable for C5.
Nothing on NSU yet, but have fingers crossed...

I'm not sure, if I'm allowed to post here the product codes for which 61.005 is available but in addition to my code (#######) the update for appr. 300 other product codes is available.

So how can anyone be sure of how safe is it?
06-Dec-2010 03:11 PM
Not sure what you mean by "how safe it is", if it is on NSU or FOTA then it is an official Nokia release.

Ops sorry..
i didn't know that
NSU or FOTA are an official.

to get maps going you probably need to delete the Cities folder in the memory card and then restart maps. If maps is working you'll then need to download Maps files again using your PC.
If it still doesn't work, check if you have any version of Maps installed in the Application manager and uninstall it.
To install a new version of Maps you need at least 2x the file size free, typically ~18MB

Mine's still saying 32 is the latest version! It seems it's only been released to APAC region for now! Fingers crossed it's not long! I'm sick of my phone crashing every half an hour!!

No dice. Completely deleted the cities folder, and there is no other version installed in app manager.
Any other ideas? It bombs out before it ever says "connecting" in the upper left hand corner...

Might be worth clearing the browser cache to see if there is a cached file that the browser doesn't like.
If that doesn't work, make a note of your feeds, delete them, clear the cache again and re-enter them again.

Only thing I can suggest is to try and clear enough space on the C- drive to install 3.04 maps, that might fix it.
