[Software_update]

Hello sir!,

                  The music player in software v.07.91 is very slow and there are several start up problems in the mobile. And some of the videos are not updated in the music player.

                   Hope these problems will be solved in the next update.

This is a Nokia users forum not Nokia so you are asking the wrong people .

Not necessarily as many Nokia employees do monitor this forum.

They may see the request but they are highly unlikely to respond.

It's a case of waiting and hoping that the problem is fixed in the next update.

Try updating the firmware to 7.97

its a lot better and a little faster than the BUGGY 7.91

Use nokia software updater

5130 XM Music player library only reads and updates videos in MP4 and 3GP formats encoded in MPEG-4 or H.263 codecs.

The Nokia Wiki page states it can play MP4 videos encoded in AVC/H.264 But I have not tested it yet.

Read and follow the instructions carefully..especially the one that says to ignore all messages that pop-up during the installation..but there are reports that users have experienced DEAD phone even after complition of the process..  but they may be very few as compared to the ones who could do it without issues..
