NSU and OVI Suite: Endless FW download loop

on friday my provider (o2 Germany) finally released v40.0.005 for my Nokia 5800. I've tried to upgrade the phone using OVI Suite 2.1.1 but after downloading 137MB it does not start to upgrade the phone. Instead it looks like OVI is downloading the fireware file again and again (whenever 137MB are tranferred, the network traffic goes to zero for a few seconds and then goes up again). I've stopped that loop after a few hours and tried NSU instead but with the same result. Same problem with another PC.

 

Maybe the integrity check of the downloaded FW fails (wrong MD5 sum or so)?

 

Today i tried FOTA but strangely there is no update available anymore (on friday it definitivly was). NSU still offers the new version.

 

Any hints?

NSU and Ovi Suite caused me troubles, so I connected my device to a WiFi connection and installed the new software, at first try it said no updates available, tried again, it detected the update. the size over the air is 16 mb only and it worked for me.
