i am having problem updating my device Nokia N97 which has already a Version 10.0.012 on it .

i have tried updating my device from PC using USB and when i start installing in goes through backup device and when in comes to intalling it takes ages and the installations does moves just stuck i think. why the hell is this happening????????  i have the latest OVI SUITE and still not working .   This is **bleep** device no updates properly prepared by nokia . also doesnt working updating from device. damn this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will nokia help me or what !!!!!

i was waiting for FOTA but in this version21 aint ganna happen so this mornning i used the PC and Nokia softwere updat with WIFI like a you said took about 25 minutes + to down load the 142.5 Mb as you see it is a larg file and wont happen over the air ,

just close your fire wall on your PC and make sure useing the high speed , dont forget to back up your data ( you can use ovi ) ,, if you want to use ovi for update remember on the tools click the softwere also on your device click the pc mode , just be relax and try i am sure you can do it , by the way V21 is awsom and fantastic also comes with map V3.01 which is great and very stable , this is the version makes N97 the Beast and nothing like a N97 , i love it

Then you need to contact Nokia  this is a users forum not Nokia .

Looks like its your B computer that you need to sort first , then your connections then the phone .

If that fails either take to a Nokia Care Centre  or ask nicely here for advise .

FOTA updates don't download an entire new firmware, just the modules that have been updated.  The FOTA firmware filesize is approximately 4.5mb for the update Nokia have just released for the N97.
