New Nokia Ovi Maps Beta v3.06(612) is disponible on nokia beta labs after final release v3.06 (587) from Ovi Store.

So soon new beta version? why?

I still believe that my n97 won't freeze even when is warm outside.

I still believe that my n97 will have enough memory on C to run everything.

I still believe that my n97 will be improved. At least a bit.

 I think there  will no  be any update for our nokias.

may BIG nokia will release new firmware but It would be only "little" minor update, and nothing will be changed.

well ... basically a new generation of mobo phone is coming..

multi-core cpu and big display ... 4G / LTE .... etc

I dont' think Nokia will do any more major updates for the Symbian S60 5th platform on N97/mini

cause it's not really worth it.  But if Nokia did the updates 6 monthes ago, It will be worth it.

Basically its way pass deadlines...

All we have learn from this very expansive lesson.  Do not Trust any more marketing campaign from now on.  Do your own homework.  Anything Nokia said regarding to future upgrades, just remember what happened to all the N97 owner here ...

If there were upgrade required for the  device, they should have done it in LABs before it hit the market.  We are end users, not you free lab rats to test your mobo phones.

The last "updates" (gallery, music player and ovi maps 3.06 from ovi store) were only for the N97mini, I think there wouldn't come anything for the N97 classic.

After my utterly horrible experience with the N97 and Nokia, I am now the happy owner of an iPhone 4. It's not perfect but it's so far in advance of anything that Nokia have and after six weeks I haven't had to once power down, pull the battery, research a problem, reinstall the software, or completely rebuild the phone.

Nokia should hang their head in shame for not only manufacturing an underpowered lemon, releasing it with alpha state software, after two years still having beta state software, but also for the disgraceful way they handled their customers who purchased this so called flagship device.
