How did the update go? Was it worth it? Last time I update mine it was a whole day disaster Hehehehe...

Update went fine after downloading, it took about 3 minutes to upgrade.

There is absolutely NOTHING new (my camera is always scratched !), this update seems only to be bugfixes.

The application list in Application Manager is empty after upgrading, I think I'll need a hard reset to recover a fresh phone

What did you expect?  A magic wand that repairs the lens or perhaps fairy dust from the speakers that make it good as new again?

The application manager list may reappear after a couple of reboots.  It did on mine after updating to v11.

I would expect from the massive amounts of complaining N97 users have been doing about firmware problems, that they would WANT a purely bugfix oriented update.

It's not been released for the UK unbranded black one yet.

Nokia UK are usually between 2 weeks to 2 months behind on updates.

All you can do is wait.
