Anybody has a clue about when Nokia will release a new firmware for N97 mini?

Any informations, rumors, ideas about this issue?

DOnt know mate ive been trying to find out this question for a few months now would be nice to know if they sort out the phone memory problem ie internet cache can been changed to the bigger drive becuase im sick of deleting it once in a while to get phone memory back lol rant over

yes... WHEN??? It makes me sick seeing that almost everybody can update the fw... I spent a lot of money buying a "unbranded" version and it's still not possible to update the fw. That is not the best advertising strategy for customers to buy a new nokia device...

Yeah i know they need to sort the problems out and make it run more smooth its like they said to themselves "O the iphones doing good lets but our n97 out even though its not ready and the firmwire sucks" They need to support there loyal customers more becuase ive always had a nokia but never again after this phone.

I think you will find v 11 for some N97 minis is starting its roll out already .

Really wow thats crazy V11 im on V21 which is a hell of alot more stable then v11. Nokia really nee to sort themselves out

Hi, i have an N97 mini firmware 11.0.045 (RM-555_EMEA_EURO QW1 CB
 0580188) and wanted to know if anyone else had managed to get their phone updated top 11.0.102 yet?

As far as i know the update is released, however, every time i try to check using OVI suite, Nokia Software updater or via the phone, i get no updated firmware.

Is there an issue with my phone or is the update not available yet.

Is there a product code for which there is a firmware update? which code is it?

Any help would be most appreciated

Discussion is one that Nokia do not allow mainly due to the fact that advice can not be given that would invalidate your warranty .

Hello RajC,I have a n97 mini with firmware v11.0.102.The firmware is not available through Nokia Software Updater,if you would like the latest firmware you have to go to a Nokia Care Point and request a phone full format which will install the latest software available.However,additional costs may be applied.

Ive just had a text of nokia saying new firmware is now available, but got to do it on my pc. Im at work so will have to wait till i get home. anyone else got this text?

nokia never informs any of its users about firmware updates,the only way to get it is wait for it,i have read on a few reliable sources that v30 for the n97 is in the works,i had a n97 myself and have now moved to e71 out of frustation and sheer disappointment,the n97 is phone dat doesnt do what the cheapest phones can do at amazing speeds and preciseness,my advice to all u guys,nokia has let us down badly,all of us have suffered the n97 blues,time to move on,find urselves a better phone and rid urselves of the pain,life is already complicated,a phone uncomplicates communication and complicate it..to hell with nokia and the nokia n97. It reflects nokia's horrible quality management..hope the upcoming n8 doesnt suffer the same..
