Can someone please tell me why I cannot upgrade my phone past version 12 firmware, my product code is 0588469.

I can tell you, but you won't like the answer. Although the phone has VF UK product code they're taking no responsibility for updates as it was only stocked by 3rd party seller (eg. p4u), VF didn't stock it themselves. So p4u sold a phone with no firmware support. Bit of a mess, there's been complaints on VF forum about this.

yep that's it, vf are saying they don't sell it directly so it's not their problem. CPW are saying it's vodafone's responsibility.

vf just suck at this kind of thing. it is possible i suppose that a CPW care point may flash it with a different version for you, if they agree go for a euro 1 pc.
