I have problem with updating my device, i used Ovi Suite, Nokia PC Suite, NSU and still it says "internal error" after download FW just begining to install and this error come all the time i try to update, any idea how to fix it?

Decks1988 - I would suggest doing a hard reset on your phone (if you haven't already) and then re-try updating the firmware.
As always, make sure you backup your personal data but avoid backing-up and restoring the settings as these could be the cause of your problem.

well ive noticed in message i get it says it lost connection with device and near clock it says disconnected then it turns to connected maybe any idea with that?

for me it happen after FW download and before instalizing it says "prepare to install" then instaling 15 min left and then without any processing internal error and its disconected and no device detected

By any chance did you disconnect the phone during the update process?
During the firmware update the phone will reboot causing the USB connection to be lost but after the software has been installed and the phone restarted the USB connection will be re-established. If you manually remove the phone before the update process has completed it can cause problems even resulting in a bricked phone.
Anyway, if your phone is still responding try the button initiated hard reset as suggested above (although I'm pretty sure it does the same thing as entering the code but if it does work it will save you a trip to the NCP) otherwise the only option left is to take the phone to a care point.

well its my second update i still have 12.0.024 and during that update and before i havent disconected it before update was finished

I have exactly the same problem as Decks, I follow the directions exactly, I don't switch off or disconnect my phone. I start the update, the phone goes to messaging, then contacts, then goes blank for a while and restarts, just as it starts up the updater say connection has been lost.
As usual another absolute joke from Nokia re the N97, paying £500 for a phone, I expected something resembling good support.
I have put up with nearly a year of this mess, no wonder Nokia's market share is going down the pan.
The next time I buy a phone, believe me it won't be a Nokia, more market share lost, well done Nokia!

i updated my n97 wid ver 21.0.045.209.07 and nw my homescreen is gone when the phone is unlocked frm its keypad locked position the menu screen pops up...n when i tried to go to home screen it says homescreen not supported.. can anyone say whats up wid this????n if there is a chance that nokia will provide internet radio on its next update??

i have the same problem. when im updating my n97 to v21. its always get disconnected to the usb.. any suggestions pls?

Guys, I encountered the same thing before & I manage to update using another PC.
Realised only 2 out of the 4 PCs that I've tried works, don't know the reason why.
