hi all.

i am a newbie here. i have just got the N95 on t-mobile. i have v12 on it and i was wondering if i should update it. i have heard some people on here say that it makes the battery life worse.

i am having doubts to whether i should update or not.

plus what will happen to the t-mobile settings?

please help.

If it's t-mobile UK then the chances are that you won't be able to update it anyway. Last time I heard t-mobile weren't willing to approve the v20 or v21 updates for use by it's customers.

If it does allow you to update the updater will install the t-mobile variant of the firmware so it will include all of their customisations and settings.

You can check at www.nokia.com/softwareupdate to see if you can update.
