I have udated my n95 to the latest software available,

the phone functions are ok but the proble is as follows:

I live in Kuwait where international code is: +965

i have all of my contacts stored by local numbers only with no int. code and whenever i recieve an sms which is delivered by network as +965( + local number) the phone dosent read the name and displays only the number although it is stored but with no int. code

Last soft. didnt have this problem and it is really annoying !!!

Is there any solution provided by nokia for this problem ??

u r not the only who have this problem with the last firmware of N95

i think it is a firmware bug

my phone its very nice no problem in arabic just some fonts in smart2go maybe u need redownload the upgrade or the sms make this

It is not only Kuwait I have the same prob.. in Oman it is the firmwork which has a bug I think,,,,I have contacted the nokia dealer i purchased the phone from but no reply from them,,,,I hope nokia gives an attention to this prob that a lot of my citizens face her in oman and it seems that all nokia dealers in here are not giving any interest to help solving the matter......the only salution i could do after i got realy lost was to formate My N95 and lose everything i had stored in it :..(:..(:..(....

I have found a solution, which is to have 2 similar contact numbers for each contact

one of which with int. code for sms
the other one without int. code for local calls.

I know its not convenient but this what works for this software
