N95 after s/f updating can not get back up

I backed up my phone before updating, updated software and then I tried to restore the phone using Nokia PC suite. But restore session freezing up at 66% point and do not go anywhere.
Now my phone has new s/f ver 21.0.016.
Is anyone could advise how to restore back the backed up file.
I checked the back up file it is in place.
I appreciate your help

Try restting the phone by pressing *#7370# and then restoring the data.
By clicking the "Kudos!" or the "Solution?" button on the right you can say "Thank You" and you´ll show the author and others that the post is useful.

Thank you for that, but it didn't help, still the same -frozen at 66 % during restore

Then you´ll have to start considering that your backup may be corrupt...and I don´t know if there´s anything you can do about that... :smileysad:

Yes, it is very likely, but how it might happened?
Now , I will be very suspicious about every upgrade of my phone because I will not be sure if my back up is OK. During the last back up(and my first one) I have not noticed anything suspicious.
How can I be sure that my back is OK from now on? It means that Nokia PC suite software has a problem if didn't report about of something going wrong process during back up .
Is it possible to read saved back up files?, because I need some info from my save data in my phone .
