SW 2.10 seems to be now rolling out in NSU (I suspect it will probably take about 2 weeks to get to all countries and operators like 2.00 did).

I bet this resolves the issue with some 3rd party applications not running, sms slow down etc

I loaded it and actually bought the BestTaskman (because so many people talked about it) and it works (its a good app too). I never owned it before so I cant say it fixed it but it works now.

Its a bit of a hassle loading each time but on the positive side we can keep getting new updates and new features some times (like WDRM)

What about the videos? Are they playing in fullscreen correctly? Even the Live 8 videos which came in my phone preloaded play with some border in the fullscreen mode. I am running the 2.00.052 version.

Wow.. Nokia is really rolling.. but i must highlight..

If your phone is doing fine then there is absolutely no need for the updates.. i hope some of the bigger stalwarts would agree.

I am running the 2.00.052 version.. and the phone seems to be in perfect working mode.. no hassles whatsoever with videos or the slow sms.. in one of my previous posts i had mentioned that once i press send the msg leaves the phone within 6 seconds, which is pretty OK if not fast enough..

But knowing myself, i would upgrade it to 2.10.xxx also hahahahhaha.. just a thought...

Also guys... as i said.. i will look for the updates.. the NSU itself has an update now... so pls update ur NSU first before updating your phone software.

Nice post. It seems your operator gets the update first , where are you located. I am in UK , O2 network .

No Rampe, the update is not the software update for the phone.. it is actually the update from the updater.. previous NSU was 1.00.88 now it is 1.1... something...

The software update for the N91 is still not available.. i am in India...

This is what I got a while ago whan I called the UL line (not exact quotes)

The operators and countries (where the Nokia country managers must approve it) take longer than the non branded retail sw versions. Eventually everyone gets it but it takes some time especially if it happens during holidays for certain countries etc...."

To P: I think India is one of the countries that needa approval (not sure). 2.00 is great but if you do not want 2.10 then I would at least make sure you load the sms accelertor application and install it.

Yeah music... my operator meeds to authorise the update...

SMS accel is definately a must.. it was gr8 that u suggested.. so far so good with the smses..

I would think that Finland should have th first upgrades available.. i dont know.. or maybe it is the americans again...hahahaha

I just dowloaded the 2.10 firmware installed just fine but now my pc suite wont recognise my phone any body else have this problem have pc suite 6.81
