Oh yeah now my facebook and web apps work perfectly BUT this almost completely destroyed my address book and phone apps. Well who would like to add address to address book anyway. Come on! Give me a sw that has the basic functionality working. Maybe I fall back to the older one...

Please can you try to explain your problem clearly?

I'm on PR1.1 and can easily add addresses to my contacts without issue. Just did one now as a test.

Are you sure you are trying to add an address to a contact that's stored on the phone, not the sim?

Almost all the basic apps are now working very badly. Example camera app: I took a picture and it doesn't save the file to the device properly. The other is the address book as I said it let's me open a add new contact page, but when I try to save it the app crashes. The same with cancel saving. So I think I'm going to try to backup everything to my pc and then fall back to the older sw and then run factory settings and then the update and let's see what happens.

I guess there are two possible reasons why this happened. If u can figure put something else please let me know...

1) I don't know if it has to do with my problem but I run the update with the developer mode on.

2) The other option is that I got the device from the Qt developer days and I run the update from Finland. But this affects only if the sw is somehow area dependent

OK now it works. I took a backup with nokia link. Then ran the reset to factory defaults and it started working. If I try to load my settings from the backup file it's not working again. So I just configured everything again and now it's better than the old sw version.

A bit wierd that somerhing in the settings screwed it up.
