I have a 46.02, and am still waiting, I even contacted Nokia Hong Kong about the update here is the reply

"Thank you for selecting the Nokia N80 handset.

Regarding your enquiry of upgrading the firmware of your Nokia N80, we suggest that you may bring your handset along with the valid sales invoice to one of the Nokia Care Center for a check first.

If you will not come to Hong Kong in the future, you are suggested to ask your friend who will soon come to Hong Kong to assist you on this issue. Or you may send the handset together with the sales invoice to your friend in Hong Kong and ask him / her to bring the handset to our shop in person for further checking.

In addition, all Nokia handsets would not have worldwide warranty. If your handset is not covered by the Limited Warranty, an inspection fee of HK420* would be applied and required part quotation will be given after inspection by our technician."

So I guess we have to wait

No, I need my phone and I'm in Canada, so it would take at least three weeks to get it back.

I really don't understand this, the 46.02 is a Hong Kong sim free unlocked phone, no carrier atached to it, why no update via NSU?

i feel you bro i live in canada too, you prob bought it from the same place like me i think the only issue is the warranty or something other than that i don't think there a problem or is there

The only reason I want the update is for my bluetooth that keeps disconecting, other than than I don't have any issues. The V4 firmeware has other nice goodies but I don't absolutly need them.

There is always the option of flashing the phone but this will void the warranty, so I'm going to wait, and keep complaining.

Waste of time.......tried 20 times to update, but it doesnt even get to download the firmware.

SORT IT OUT NOKIA. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO DO AN UPDATE.

PIECE OF **bleep**PY UPDATING SOFTWARE.



GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY THE N80 SHOULDNT GET LAUNCHED.

WINDOWS XP OS IS MORE RELIABLE, THAN THE OS IN THE N80.

slonars n80 and mine n80 are not allowed to be updated by the NSU cuz they were bought from hong kong i don't know why this is a issue but i heard ppl say something about the warranties and stuff
