N8-00 with 059L0P4: forgotten by Anna?

Dear Nokia,

I have the N8 phone (Italian, WRC branded), with 059L0P4 product code. Up to now, there has been no update to Anna.

Any news about this issue?

You should ask your operator because releasing new firmware is up to him. Operator have to approved new software before release.

Dear nismonet,

it is an operator-free N8. As you can read in my original post, it is branded by WRC, World Rally Championship.

No clue where to ask...

Devidah, I thought that WRC is an operator :smileyhappy: Sorry for my mistake. I have no idea why you can not update your software.

It looks like you have a limited edition N8 that was launched to coincide with the World Rally Championship. It came preloaded with S^3 v 14.2 and it looks like it has been forgotten by Nokia.

You could use the Contact us section at the top of the page or pay a visit to a Nokia Care Point.

It might be the case that Nokia have chosen to bypass Anna and update it to Belle when it gets released possibly next month.

To be honest, Anna was a bit of a let down anyway so you're not missing much.

All the best.

Ray.
