N73, Upgrade V4.0726.2.0.1 bug

Hi everyone,
Lately i upgraded my n73-1's firmware from 3.xxx to V4.0726.2.0.1. Everything works fine except the fact that i cannot chose Sandby Mode Apps : The basic 6 icon set cannot be changed since the Param - Phone - Stanby Mode - Standby Apps does not work...
- Am i the only one in this situation ?
- Is there any means to fix this ?
Thanks in advance...

Re: N73, Upgrade V4.0726.2.0.1 bug

Your best bet is back up only contact, message etc, but setting by PC Suite. Then copy all content in MiniSD to PC via card reader (you have to set folder option in Windows >> show system and hidden files first). Then hard reset your phone >> just restore back up >> format MiniSD by phone then copy back just nescessary files from contents of your card earlier copied to PC. The files you need back should be under folder image and sound, the rest of your favourite programs have to be re-installed. I had have done all that, now my phone works as it intended to be.

Hi,
I did the things you suggested (except the hard reset, did a soft reset instead) and everything works properly now.
I do thank you for your help :smileyhappy:

Re: N73, Upgrade V4.0726.2.0.1 bug

Hi,
After upgrade from version v3.xxxx to v4.0726.2.0.1 every time I'm placing a call one of the apps requesting to be connected to the internet. Along with it I've noticed the amount of dropped calls increased significantly. At times it may happen twice in a period of 4 minutes!
Nokia N73 RM-133, code 0529815, provider T-Mobile USA.

Any suggestions?

PS. Question to Nokia: Can Nokia support check if this phones still under warranty for possible replacement? I can provide IMEI #. The phones was acquired in England.

Thanks for help in advance.
