Just FYI, my Jabra BT250V works perfectly with N73 latest FW 4.0727.2.2.1 and also perfectly with Itech Clip Radio. I don't have any GPS BT dongle to test with it.

Hi everyone!

Just updated my phone with the latest firmware. Based on the change log the music player should be replaced with N Series Music Player but the difference is having an option to exit the music player.

I came across with this site, with a screenshot of the N Series music player...?

Does the 4.0727.2.2.1 firmware version really should have N Series Music Player be installed, or maybe phone only was not fully updated?

And what about, Active Standby + UI Grid layout + application locations changed in-line. How do I set this?

The largest mini-sd compatible with the new firmware of Nokia N73 ME, as far as I know, is a 4GB Topram non-HC. Can be found on eBay.

After flashing the bluetooth gps module does work anymore.

Another issue since the update as detailed in a previous topic by myself, is that the pop3 mail client refuses to notify you of new e-mails with the usual sound and banner.

It just stores them in the mailbox folder under messaging waiting for you to go and find them by yourself. Quite frustrating because after a long day you find like 50 e-mails you didn't even know about unread in the mailbox.

I have this firmware on my phone and can use BT GPS just fine. Just another 2 cents. May be re-pair them or hard reset GPS module ?

Speed has improved in some areas on this update, but its still not particularly fast.

However, more RAM is impossible. Thats hardware - you'd have to open it up, change components ....

HELP PLEASE:
I have an N73 branded on 3network.
It has the IE and ME features combined and i have upgraded the firmware to v4 (previously v3) which i have been told is the Music Edition,(i did not realise that i already had the music edition) now the multimedia key only enables the music player and i have lost msn and the ability to configure the multikey to my settings. i need to get this back to the original firmware, is there a way, i wish i hadn't touched it...

Please advise????

I downloaded this firmware and there was a difference in menu. In the main menu was folder called Internet and also there was camera in the main menu. Then I took the backup from the miniSD and the menu was normal! Is there possible to get the better menu which comed with the new firmware back?

make a backup with nokia backup software via pc and only backup / restore contacts messages calendar etc. but not the settings. this should work. so but you loose all settings like phonesettings, access points, wap, internet and mms access points and camsettings etc.
