Hi! I have problem with my Nokia 5530. It doesn't ring while receive message (SMS). I have updated my software, but it doesn't ring. I have seen all settings but still nothing. I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP me. Thank you!

What settings did you check ? Did you check the PROFILE settings ? and are you using that profile ??

Yes, I am using profile (General) and I checked all in profile settings about SMS ringing and vibrating. After that, everything was the same. It doesnt' ring.

I have updated software, but the result was the same.

When you select the TONE under 'Message alert Tone'.. at the time of selection does it sound ? and also the vibrations ??

Yes, it sounds and vibrates.

If you have a large no. of messages stored.. delete as many as posiible..

Yes, I have a lot of messages (because of my job). You think the reason is a large nomber of messages in inbox?
