Firstly, I'd like to say that most of the Belle update is great. Smoother, prettier, mostly more functional, but there are three glaring issues:
- Firstly, some apps vanished from my phone (most problematically, since I paid for them, all of the Angry Birds games and Battery Info) and I couldn't access them. Reading the FAQs, I saw that was mentioned, so I though - no problem; I'll re-download them. I tried and the download failed a few times, then worked once for a moment, but as soon as I turned my phone off (see the second point) and on again, the games were gone.
Now, when I try to reinstall them again, it continually fails (or tells me that it's succeeded but the games are nowhere to be found).
I'm on an E7, in case that changes things.
- Secondly, the phone seems to disconnect from the network, or at least the messaging access point, randomly, so I have to turn off the phone and back on again to send and receive text messages. It's only happened twice, but then the update only came out two days ago, so that's not necessarily a good thing
- Thirdly, and perhaps trivially, but it does bother me slightly, I miss the little info in the music player where it tells me what track I'm on from an album (6/13 or whatever); that's gone now, and I'd like it back.
The first two are bugs, the last one is obviously a design decision that someone took, but it would be great to see resolutions of these things, because apart from them, I'm enjoying it all so far.
