For some undisclosed reason UK updates appear 2-3 months later than the rest of the europe... at least N97 users got their with that timing... This applies to SIM-free phones...

5800xm on a blender ... will happen sooner than expected.... v51 is a failure as an update .... v52 just postponed its fate....

I'm in the same boat here waiting for v40 on product code 0575581.

It largely depends on phone network operators checking v40, approving it and giving the green light to Nokia to release it.

There was some posting on these forums a few months back from a Nokia employee saying that there had been a bit of 'restructuring' at Nokia as they had found UK users were being hampered by some staff not releasing firmware in a timely manner.

Hopefully things will zip along nicely for v40!

It's out in the UK for some product codes.....just not ours yet. It's a case of sitting tight and waiting I'm afraid.

My UK sim free 5800 purchased from Noka is still stuck with v21, I give up, Nokia cistomer service stinks
