Hello all
I own a Nokia 6288 (it is in hebrew). The phone is really buggy and can barely be used. The service provider offered to reinstall the software for some money, but it's not worth it since the phone will be back to being buggy in a short time (always like that).
What I am trying to find out, is how can I repair the firmware. I do not care about any data in the phone, but I do want to make sure that I won't lose the language (Hebrew).
Firmware is RM-78 V 06.43. I do not mind reverting to an older version, as long as the phone works I'm happy. Nokia software updater doesn't help me since it says that I already have the latest firmware.
Thanks a lot for any help!

NSU should normally offer the chance to reinstall the current version if you already have the latest.
There is no way to downgrade software, and as your phone is an older model out of warranty the only option you have to to use NSU or pay the serivce point to do it.

Thanks for the reply.
Having tried again, NSU says "Your phone already has th latest supported software. No update needed".
There is no reinstalling option, which is exactly what I'm looking for.
Thanks for any help!
