hey guys,

I have v 6.00 on my nokia x3-02 and i want to reupdate it. The problem is that nokia software updater does not recognize mobile dont know whY??? and i also tried reinstalling it but still no use.... can anyone suggest a reason to this??? is there anyway u can reupdate using ovi suite or any other option????

If you mean Re-install then Yes, you can re-install the firmware thru' OVI Suite.. When you go for Update.. after checking it will inform about any available update or ask whether you want to re-install..

but my mobile version is already up-to-date and there r no updates available for it so   it doesn't give any option to reinstall   HELP??

Are you using the latest version (3.1.0.91) of OVI suite ?

Its something Odd.. BTW though you have memtioned the NSU doesn't recognise your phone, suggest this http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-software-updater

..the last resort is to visit Nokia care to get it done...

still the same problem now it even detects the version and rm-639 but not device why is there any setting in the mobile??? **bleep** IS  THIS NOKIA? ? i  cant reinstall my SOFTWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its compatibility issue..

Visit to Nokia Care seems to be the only option left..
