Ok I got the N95 8GB on 3 and wanna update it to a new fimware.

Also I download the Nseries pc suite and backed up my phone but it gave errors on calender and something else. Is my Spiderman DRM key safely backed up?

And whats the best way to go about so I dont brick it like some people are here?

Someone please help

What OS are you on?The best thing would be updating via XP...

If your phone is locked to 3 then you will have to wait till 3 approves the upgrade.

well i backed up and updated to fw 20.0.016 and it failed and said to take battery off and put it in. Suprisingly it turned on. When i copied back the back spidey 3 was working but for some reason I didnt have the navigation key shortcuts. It wasnt even in standby mode settings. I done factory reset and it came back but spidey 3 wont work. What a Dilema. Anyone know the name of the drm file?
