Having the same Software Update Failed error in North America. Tried everything available online and appears to be happening to alot of folks with lots of different configurations so I'm assuming this is on Nokia's end. Help! LOVE my E71, makes me crazy that my iPhone (had to get one for testing) doesn't have this type of issue. Keep me on board Nokia!!

I am also having this issue. I have a new E63, and I have put so much time and effort into this phone that it is not even funny. I am using XP and I get the "configuration error" when I try to run the software updater.

 

Doesn't Nokia actually test their own software? Are the software testers on vacation down in Spain? Some of these software problems are so very basic that even the most novice software tester could catch them. Doesn't Nokia even do beta tests?
