HELP: Is there any way to upgrade firmware when phone is off?

[ Edited ]
Hello, I have a big Question about my N73 ME. I live in Pakistan where Power Cutdown (They call it load-shutting) is a common sight (about 5-6 times in a day.)n and I want to upgrade my Phone to new firmware. So, what will happen if the computer got turned off during the process of installation of firmware? In my Previous SonyEricsson Phone, It was not a big problem as the phone can be updated even when the phone is off (or even if there's on firmware on phone). But what about Nokia? Are there any unofficial tools (like XS++/Setool2lite/SEKing for SonyEricsson) which can restore my firmware even when the phone is not turning on?
Keep in mind that my phone is not in warranty and there's no Nokia's own care point also......

You might be able to recover it with NSU, but if possible, try to do the firmware updating with a laptop that has a charged battery, rather than a desktop PC (unless you happen to have access to an UPS that can keep the desktop PC powered for a while).

The actual flashing procedure doesn't take more than a few minutes, so maybe if you do it just after one of the days power outages, you'll have enough time to get it done before the next one.

i agree with petrib, it's safer to use a laptop with a fully charged battery in your case.
there are some tools around with which you can update the phone with outside the NSU, as long as you download and use the correct firmware they should be easy to use. BUT, i do advice you to stick to NSU. as you said there is no care point near you, so it's better safe than sorry.

Not to mention that use of software not authorised by Nokia voids the warranty on the phone immediately!
