Firmware Updates in INDIA- Campaign for Equality

This is for all the people who have wasted their money buying a Nokia N97. Firstly, N97 is the worst phone in its category. The phone is horrible and the software freezes every moment. Feels as if the number 97 in N97 reveals the number of times the Nokia N97 will freeze in a day.

Nokia releases an update but not for everyone. They differentiate between their customers. The update is available at just one location and the people who paid a premium price for this handset in nations like UK and India never got it on time. To get it in UK it took a weeks time however it still aint available in INDIA.

So people come forward and share your experience, let the people in Nokia know what they mean by "Connecting People"

n97 is the **bleep** phone ever made by nokia. Mine is also 0587487. They haven't released v20 for this product code,i don't know why the **bleep** they haven't released v20 update for this product code, but some how now i have updated my phone to v20:smileyhappy: but still my phone is not stable at all.it crashes 97 times a day with some blinking lines..:smileymad:.i even gave it to nokia care & got it back after 16 days with no issue resolved. i don't know whether i have buy this phone for my use or for giving it to nokia care for repairing. i'll keep getting problems & i'll keep giving it to nokia care for repairing & they will give it back after 10-20 days with no issue resolved & in all this bloody process soon the warranty of my phone will be over & soon they'll start charging money for repairing. I spend bloody 35,000 Rs for this phone & now this phone have completely messed up my life...one of my friend was also going to buy this phone but i suggested him to go for any phone but not n97..

Firmware Updates in INDIA- Campaign for Equality

I agree with you on this. I am quite crazy about mobile phones. I have saved around 25-30 people who were thinking of buying a Nokia N97 and I thank Nokia for this attitude of mine. What lovely service they have offered?

One thing for sure that the current Nokia N97 users will never buy a Nokia again. Especially in India its going to be     No   -   Kia
