So Stephen Elop just announced at Nokia Connection 2011 that Symbian Anna (AKA PR2.0) will be available for existing s^3 users via download from August. Now can everyone stop asking when it will be available?

Huh,
After waiting so long, new devices will have anna in beginning of July while existing will get after around two months.
Now seriously remembering the tagline.
"Nokia N8", "Symbian Anna" - "WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH IT"

I actually obses with symbian os. thats end up me to buy c6-01.
I really show off to my 14 years old brother about the specialities of symbian3 os.
On the April, I promised him to show some great feature after the Anna update.
but all i get just Pr1.2. and he laughing at me. He said the update pr1.2 is nothing!
then i promised to update to symbian anna on May. End of May, he asking where is Anna..!
Now June. Im so embbarassed to him because the Anna only available the end of August (mybe September)...He told "Nokia just lying"..
I really ashamed..come on lah nokia..make the update in at least mid of July..!

Apple has got a vision, letting the customers know about their software updates coming, and gives brief information about new features. What about Nokia?
Does Nokia really have a new, fresh, innovative, better vision to offer its customers???
I dont think so!

release date late April (2012 maybe?) then release date middle May . Oh we are still in beta , new release date late June . Now what ? From July only new handsets and all of us idiot customers wait for August .
Oh I forgot . by this date we are going to buy an android to get rid of this "stupid customer waiting as long as they want"

But why should we go for an android device? I think that we are suckers if we continue buying such expensive smart-phones, especially when we do not really need them(!)...
this is one of the best phones!...

Well, good point. Counterquestion: How many models does Apple have in their portfolio and how many devices does Nokia have on the market? ![]()
We actually do have a Software Update vision in Nokia and a lot of focus on this topic in our organisation. But with over 200 devices on the market, it's not that simple and you can't just copy and paste processes of a company that only has less than 5 different handsets on the market.

2nd counterquestion : Why does Nokia release so much phones when cannot support them properly ? It's clear that the 2 companies have different class of support . Apple release one device at time and support it with updates . Nokia wants 6 months to release an update and other 3 months for custom firmwares of branded phones . Now thats what nokia means with support
