Updated my E90 to 300.34.84.
First try it failed (NSU crashed), second trial passed.
But again, the same as previous version, Calendar was NOT restored from the backup. Can Nokia fix this issue ?

NOT Advisable to load!!! -
This update includes maps 2.0 and with this you can no longer route or get an alternative route without internet/ gprs connectivity.
IF YOU ARE IN A RURAL AREA or PAYs for internet connectivity the way south-africans do DO NOT LOAD THIS UPDATE it will cause major dissapontment and you might as well use a patato as a GPS. "Calculating route" is displayed and nothing happens without internet, a major crisis if you are in a hurry. In south africa internet is slow thus the phone lags dangerously when doing voice navigation, and it does not tell you in time when to take a turn.
Oh yea you cannot load the old maps back to the phone, you will have to send it to a level 3 Nokia repair centre and wait for at least a week to get you phone back.

Update went ok but GMail client won't work anymore. I have not seen any great change. So why did I update? (I cannot remember now).

I'm really disappointed. I believe gmail stopped working because the java class com.nokia.mid.ui.fullcanvass is not fully supported in this new firmware.

Perhaps it has something to do with the changes nokia made in trying to provide faster screen swap from external to internal screen.
I really couldn't care less what happened. Nokia, please fix this!

The sad thing is we can't downgrade our firmware that easily.

Can you switch off the connection to the internet on the settings menu of the Nokia maps and does the phone still navigate you when it is not connected to internet.
Another test is to take out the simcard and then try and use the navigation.
My Phone does nothing without a GPRS / internet connection.

After update, my wlan has been more unstable then before, eg in bedroom it tells that wlan is ot for use.. signal is strong enough anyway

After the update to FW300.34.84 the bluetooth no longer works and the radio reboot the phone and i'm not the only person how has this problems after this update
