E55 sw:022.009 and reduced battery life

Hi,

 

After applying new software 022.009 to my E55, the battery life was dramatically reduced. Before that I used to charge once per week (5-6 days). Now after every 24hrs! I have checked the bluetooth and wifi and they are off. Also 3G is off and i'm mostly working on EDGE to save battery. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

Didn't expirienced such problem. Try hard reset and then re-install software. It may work

I don't know what region you're in but there is a new sw v. 31.12. I would say flash your E55 again. With this version i've seen only benefits, no reduced batt. life whatsoever, ovi maps works like a charm ( fast gps fix ), integrated wireless radio, mail checking made easy, mine connects automaticly to my home wireless ( without wireless scanning on ) when i'm back at home.
