Hi,

I tried to update to the current firmware 400.34.011 but when I download either the NOKIA OVI SUITE or the NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER neither of them updates to the current firmware version. I have 400.34.001 and when both of the programs check for updates they say that my version is up to date, when clearly the website states otherwise. 

There has to be a glitch of some sort.

The reason is.. availability of update depends on Product Code / Region.. also if the Phone is Network locked, then update is possible only after an approval from the Operator...It seems there are no updates currently made available for your Phone.. so wait and keep checking...

Also, there are times when Ovi Suite and NSU cannot detect updates, but the onboard updater on the phone can. Dial *#0000# on your phone, select options>check for updates.

Thats what probably happened but unfortunately my phone does not support over the air updates. I do not have an option to check for updates on the phone.

Well then that means you have to wait. It may have not been released for your unit's product code yet.
