Crash while updating software on 5300

Hi,

Nokia Software updater lost contact with my 5300 during update from firmware 5.51 to 7.00!

The updater gave instructions not to disconnect the phone, wich I followed. Now it is frozen at aprox 20% of the update and no software seems to be installed on the phone. Nor can the Software Updater locate the phone anymore!!!

Is there anyway that I can download any firmware for the phone on my PC and install it on the phone via PC-suite or simple USB connection? Any other suggestion?

I am not a novice, so please take for granted that I did not make any big mistakes.

Any help would be appreciated!

Listen u can only reistall ur phone software through the NSU pc suite I must say will not help u in this problem.....

Try the hard reset by '*' '3' 'Call Key' and 'Power Key' all pressed together at the same time..... if ur phone restarts then well and good otherwise hand it over to nokia care point. It would be done free if ur phone is under warranty otherwise be ready with some cash!!!!!!!!1
