I have Nokia 6600 Slide (RM-414) phone. Recently I upgraded its firmware from v6.14 to v6.55 using Nokia PC Suite v7.1.40.1 / Nokia Software Updater 1.8.10en. Then i restored the backup of my phone from desktop to the phone using pc suite. Now the contacts are vissible in the phone but are not vissible in contacts in the nokia pc suite's nokia communication center. On phone all my contacts are stored in device memory and are not stored in sim card. Also the hour glass animation (shown for displaying the progress animation when the task being executed takes long time like openining memory card) which was lost when i upgraded to v6.14 is not resolved in latest firmware version v6.55 too.

 

Does any one faced the same problem? Is there any workaround to get back contacts in nokia pc suite?

I got my contacts back in Nokia PC Suite after performing "Restore settings only" from "Restore factory settings" option from my phone "Settings" menu.I think after firmware upgrade you need to do it once.
