I find Nokia very uncommunicative, very close to ignorant in regards to software and firmware updates. The infamous N97 and its issues has made many people jump all over the boards, when the only real problem has been lack of support. I want support and that include information on known issues, plans on fixing them and comprehensive documentation of released soft and firmware. One may call M$ the ultimate evil, but at least they offer support&facts to their customers.
Can you please direct me to a detailed change log for latest firmware for N97, v21? How else can we verify possible fixes? How else can we find new features? Nokia seems to threat these things as state secrets rather than support topics!?

I don't agree with the policy, personally. I would love to see what has been fixed from one version to the next. It is, however, official policy, so we all have to tow the line.
How bizarre. We buy a Nokia phone, we find problems, and Nokia doesn't want address these even when trying to fix them :/
I would also like to find proper documentation how to use my 650€ brick; how can a company within EU simply ignore to documented a consumer device? The phone I have with FW 21 installed is for sure not the one find in the users manual.
Where can I find up-to-date manuals for N97 with current FW?
