Hi folks.sorry if this has been asked before.im new to the forum and couldn't find anything on it.go easy on me.haha.i have a nokia n97 with product code 0588348.it has software version 12.0.026 on it but when i try to update to v 20 it tells me i already have the latest  update??any help would be much appreciated.Thanks.

ok. updating to new firmware depends on product code which represents your region of purchasing, language pack and if it's branded or not .... so NOKIA releases firmwares and release it for every product code depending on mentioned points

if ur product code hasn't the v.20 update, that means that nokia didn't release it for your product code yet or your phone is branded with an operator and that means that you should go to the operator care center

As I can see, your n97 is O2 branded. Is that correct? In that case it's O2 who needs to approve the newer updates. Nokia can't help you there.

if your phone isn't branded, you may go to nokia care center and ask them for update if available
