Since I have updated to this version, I cannot run the applications like Zip Manager,Nimbuzz, WorldMate etc.

Please fix this problem

Those three apps you mentioned all run ok on my v21 5800xm so it's certainly not a problem with the firmware.

You must have some other problem with your phone.  Have you tried uninstalling the apps then reinstalling them (make sure you install to phone memory, not memory card)?  Do you get an error messages? Exactly what happens when you try you run them?

Why is it that we have to download it to the phone memory and not the Memory Card.??

.I have it in my memory card and it works all fine though...

I installed the applications on the memory card before updating. I re-installed the applications today and now those are running fine.

Just for your knowledge, before re-installing when I tapped on the application icon,nothing would happen. But it's ok.

But I have some other concerns, before updating I was pretty happy with the speed of 5800. But after the updates, it has become slower.

It's a suggestion for that user to try, in case the memory card is causing the problem.

Also it's well known that if you want a symbian based phone to constantly perform well then it's better to install to the permanent, more reliable phone memory than the removable, more susceptible to corruption memory card.

Often if you have lots of apps installed to the card you will get problems such as slow menu's and reduced speed when using those programs whilst other apps are accessing the memory card.

That update shouldn't have made the phone slower, in fact the opposite  Does the phones speed return to normal if you switch it on without the memory card inserted?

I guess the memory card did not make this difference, as it was there before updating.

Then perhaps it's time that you fully reset your phone and formatted the memory card to give yourself a fresh start?  It does look like something somewhere is not working as well as it should.

Notice a new bug on my 5800 v21.

when i am creating a new calender entry and click on "Subject" to type.. if i click on the "*" key to bring up the symbols, the screen freezes up. it seems the symbols window pops up momentory and disappears to the background immediately causing the screen to freeze....

anyone has the same problem?

I am facing another problem. When I go to settings of Message and try to change the Message memory from Phone Memory to Memory Card, suddenly messaging application crashes. Although I had been using Memory Card as messaging memory.

This all started happening after another problem. My Nokia 5800 suddenly halted when I was deleting an image from Memory card. When I restarted my mobile, it was doing an unusual and frustrating behaviour. My screen started flickering after every 3 seconds. This carried on even after several restarts. Then I removed the Memory card and then reinstalled it. This is how I got rid of the flickering issue, but the above mentioned problem was the result.
