Is it just me? On my N8, now with Belle, tapping on the 'Back' icon often does nothing and sometimes I have to tap it half a dozen times. 

Same with tapping the app menu icon on the homescreen sometimes. Is there a gremlin in the works? Just me? Or widespread?

Yes, you are right.. I am also having the same problem with back and application icons tapping. I don't know what to do. There seems to be no solution to it. It is basically a bug which needs to be resolved by Nokia. But i don't know why nokia is not working on this issue.

For now I can give a temporary solution which has always worked for me. When that happens, that is when icons on the home screen or the soft menu key or back button doesn't respond, press the physical menu key a few times repeatedly. After the menu opens and closes a few times, the system seems to come back to normal. Now am using the physical menu key as an F5 key for refreshing like in a PC. But Nokia has to take note of this glitch and fix it in their next update atleast.
