guys i tried the nokia software update and followed the exact steps but somehow my e6's software is not being detected. this is how it looks like. HELP!

As far as I know Nokia is working on releasing it for all codes. Would be quite unfair to me if they don't. Maybe they need a few more days

NSU worked for me with my N8 and I'm on Lion.

It just didn't backup anything and I lost a LOT of stuff.

its ok the update came over night and I've updated its awesome!! but like others lost all messages and contacts..

I am really sorry for those of you who lost their files. I didn't expect that, because I had none of these errors. The only way I know to save the phone contacts by now is iSync, and I suggest iPhoto for media. I hope the guys at Nokia are working to improve the functionality/interface for mac users
