Hi all,
we have just released more updates for countries that have already launched Anna in previous weeks. (Attached is as usually the list of product codes that now have Symbian Anna available for download.)
Additional variants (week40):
- Israel –Partner IL
- Italy – 3IT
- LATNAM – Peru, Chile (except C7 Entel) & Venezuela
- Russia – MTS
The following key countries are still outstanding and planned for a launch in the next couple of weeks: Australia, USA, Canada

That really sucks....So Skyee tell me if you wish to answer since no one likes to answer anything about the US variant...Whats the deal with it? Can you just tell us if we are getting it next year...?

Why are you so crazy about anna?
I am happy N8 and astound user even with current firmware. I just wish nokia would tell us they are skipping anna and giving belle to US users faster.

Skyee,

At this point, Anna is a dead duck, and if I don't get it, I won't lose any sleep. The US and Canada and Australia *might* get it in a few weeks, but even if they do, it'll be November, and too close to the release of Belle (the major update that actually changes things) for me to care too much about Anna.
Anna would've been great late August (as promised by Elop) or sometime in September, but at this point, I am only thinking of Belle and all the new features that comes with that update.
Anna is a spit-n-polish.
Belle is an engine overhaul.
I'm waiting for Belle. ![]()

Right! next couple of weeks! Nokia is sooo full of it! You've been saying next couple of weeks for a month and a half now! It's been a while since I've felt the way I feel about Nokia right now. In fact, I think the last time I felt this was was in 1994 and in the 17 years since I haven't bought a product from that company once. And I am guessing that I've probably told a thousand or more people how much that company sucked! Essentially what I'm saying is that Nokia Sucks and I will be sure to tell a bunch of people that.

Thanks for the update Skyee. Looking forward to week41's announcement.

Anna is on its way to Australia ![]()
"
Nokia Australia There is a Mail for Exchange bug and also an emergency call display issue ie. the phone can still make emergency calls but the UI on the phone doesn't show that it can."
Can't believe minor bugs take so long to iron out... but at least its on its way...
Oh btw... stop fussing over Anna, its just a entree for the main course: Belle!!!
complain when Belle is delayed :L
with Anna your not missing much tbh... <im in Aus btw... and tried Anna and Belle>
MODERATOR'S NOTE: Post has been edited as you have mentioned a procedure that is illegal. Use of it may cause unforeseen damage to the device which in turn invalidates the warranty of the handset; therefore we do not allow this to be discussed in an official Nokia forum.

Please Guys, this is an increasing spiral of bad mood. Let's calm down and enjoy what we have while arrives the update. Let's stop being so pending of it. Let's remember what we felt when unpacking our new Nokias and return to enjoy them again. It's not constructive what we're doing in here, we're just feeding our frustration and the one on others also.
Have a nice weekend to all.

Spiral of bad MOOD you got that PURPLEEN i paid top notch dollar the day the N8 was released...This mood that you see here in this thread is for Nokia to pull there heads out of there ***** - and start distrubuting the update. They said about 2 months almost now the following week the following week. Im mad because other people non US variants get to enjoy anna and the wonderful FIRMWARE enhancements it may have. while the US still have to wait for it. As for when first recieving the Nokia n8 mine was faulty had to send it to Nokia Repair center SO SORRY i dont think i had that JOY you had PURPLEEN when you first got yours. So i was very **bleep** as you can see with NOKIA...With the constant rebooting of the phone which is so damn common now i thinking twice of why i bought the n8 now..So im hoping that this firmware will come out so it could end all these bugs that my $549.00 plus tax nokia came with on the day it was released...

Also the spiral of bad mood is a good thing, its to show nokia how many costumers out there spent so much money and get **bleep** service and that they should UP THERE SERVICE even more!!!!

I'm with Andy on this one... I'm quite happy with my non-Nokia device that I'm using while waiting for Belle... which will land in Q4 2012, if we gauge how well the Anna roll-out goes...

@ladygaga684
I'm sorry about your experience with your N8. I have a US N8 too and don't have that rebooting problem. I think if you still have it you should get it to Nokia Care because it should be a hardware issue and it wouldn't fix with Anna.
By other means, that's exactly what I'm talking about the bad mood spiral. I'm not telling you to stop asking or demanding if you prefer so. I only tell you let's calm down and if you must ask, demand, complain, do it in a peaceful way so you don't hurt yourself and others with this anger. It's frustrating, I know, but it comes a point in where we must stop and take a look in perspective.
The firmware update will be eventually released in the US, but it's expected to fix performance issues, not something as big as rebooting. That should be fixed by US Nokia Care.
I wish you peace.
Have a nice weekend.
