I'm updating my phone the power chips out, i try to turn it on it it just blinks and shuts off and then i connect it to my computer its  says its  updating and then it stop every second and says retry but each time i retry it the time becomes less whats happening can some1 help me plz  ...

Never update the phone with less than full battery. Now that you have, only thing you can do is take it to a Nokia Care Center.

 

s40 phones do not have hard reset codes.
