Hi all. I have a problem with my nokia 5130. After update to version 7.91, this things disappeared from the menu -> Settings -> Display the following options: Screen saver and Power saver. How can I fix? Thanx

hi, you'll have to reinstall the firmware, unfortunately there's no other way. you can do that either by a soft or hard reset, or by reinstalling the firmware with Ovi Suite (Tools - Software updates: reinstall my firmware)

have you tried a soft or hard reset? the firmware reinstall might not fix your issues all the time, therefore i'd recommend an either soft or hard reset..

i have the same problem with my 5130 ver. 7.91 after i've update it through nokia care center.

-the screensaver is gone and the power saver is also gone

-when i press play on my AD-54 remote headset, it didn't play. bcoz i need to open the music player to play it. and it also take long to open music player itslef (not on the music library)

even i've tried to restore to factory setting + reformatted my microSD card. still not working

the code is *#7370# . you'll have to know your security code, too. the default one is 12345. if you've changed it, you need to remember it, otherwise you won't be able to do the format.

Hi again! Sorry for that, i misspelled the code. And sorry for the wrong format code, your device is on symbian sv40, on these devices you cannot apply the soft or hard reset codes, you can only revert them to the factory settings. Your only try would be reinstalling the firmware through ovi suite / nokia software updater.

Also, it seems like this is a known and very encountered problem, it may be a firmware bug, if this is the case, then all you can do is either sending the phone back from where you bought it and requesting one with the previous firmware installed on it, or you'll just have to wait until nokia releases a new firmware, which will (hopefuly) fix this bug.

Yeah... My 5130c-2 is the same... screensaver and power saver is gone and you can't set flash as screensaver anymore.... maybe it will be fixed in new firmare...

What I love about Nokia though is that they take pride in  their firmware update releases. I'm sure these will be solved in the next update frimware 8.xx.

In 7.91

1.Screen saver option has been taken off...
2.the standby time is also not visible..
3.the images attached to contacts are small now when a incoming calls comes.

4. Music player is slow

its same with mine whe i bought a new 5130its version frimware is same as yours i used to have 6288 lately then i bought this 5130 and im looking for the screen saver no screen saver tab found on setting submenu.
