Problems playing MKV files on Nokia N8

Hi everyone, I received my replacement N8 back from Nokia Care the other day, and it was fine playing MKV files, but I installed a few things like updated the Maps files and installed the Quick Search update, and now the MKV files won't play and instead lock up the phone. The thumbnails in the Photos application also won't load now and it freezes the application so that I have to restart the phone. The phone does however play other formats fine, AVI / DivX, FLV, MP4 etc that I throw at it.

 

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Because I thought it was the Big Screen application that stuffed up my phone in the first place but it seems that its happening now without having even installed the Big Screen application.
