My nokia c6 photos and videos apps.can not be open and fail to refresh itself.
Pliz kindly help me out of this.

Hey Murkgunz, Welcome to the Nokia Forums!

 

Is your screen freezing up also when you try to open your photos and videos?

 

The problem should be fixed by installing a phone applications update in the following way:

  1. Select Menu > Applications > SW Update.
  2. Select "Phone apps update".
  3. Select Options > Start update.
  4. Reboot the device after the update has been installed.

 

If it is not possible to install the update via the SW Update menu, the device should be taken to Nokia Care, where separate fix files can be installed to the device (that can be done in service level 1, 2 and 3).

  1. Before installation, check that date in device is set to ongoing day, otherwise installation may fail
  2. After that SIS file MdsBlackPhotosFix.sis should be installed to the device (i.e. with Ovi Suite)
  3. After the file is installed reboot device (do not change language during boot up if asked).

 

If the problem still exists after installing SIS fix packages, then you will have to take your phone to a Nokia Care point.

After so updating too....it doesnt work buddy...

Can you access them via USB and back them up? or is it blocking you from seeing the files in USB mode too?

 

I suggest trying to back up using Nokia Suite and performing a Hard reset on the phone code *#7370# default security code 12345 if it asks. This will clean out your phone and reinstall the operating system. Make a second backup of just your media files too just to be safe!

 

Then put all your information back onto the phone using the backup and hoepfully your problem will be gone. 

If it still does not work, you will have to take it to your local Nokia Care point and let them know all the troubleshoot steps you have taken so far with your device.
