I thought I'd create this thread so that if Nokia is monitoring they'll see features that are required in some of the apps, e.g., photo browser.

1) The photo browser needs to be able to be sort pictures on date (when a picture has been added), tag fields, photos that don't have tags, etc. This needs to be as flexible as possible. The device is capable of holding an unlimited amount of photos. I current have more than 1,200 on my phone and find it difficult to find a specific picture. 

2) Videos should not be in shown in the photo gallery! They do not use the same extension used by an image. This should be a very minor thing to solve as videos use extensions such as *.avi, *.mp4, *.mv4, *.wmv, *.mov etc. 

3) You should be able to add a tag to a photo regardless of where you are on the phone. You are selling this as a multimedia smartphone. This allows the user to then find a specific photo without much effort and they can add it to a specific album or do whatever they want later. 

Other users, will have different needs and hopefully, will add their opinions.

I think this can start a thread for Nokia to see what is required for them to lift there game so that users can feel like we have brought the best phone.

I'm having huge difficulty organising photos on my 5800. The Gallery takes ages to display, even when it's just looking at pictures it's already thumbnailed, and I am SO frustrated at the idiot capability to sort photos by date but ONLY IN ONE DIRECTION.  Sorry for shouting, but how stupid is that?  I want to show a slideshow in date order.  The photos have uploaded themselves to the phone from my camera in some weird order that is not date sorted.  Now I can apparently view them in date order, except that it is only reverse order.  Am I being particularly stupid? I also tried to view them using File Manager, but there is no option to view more than one photo at a time. 

So, please, Nokia, put yourselves in the position of someone actually using this phone - here am I, I want to show some pics I took on holiday and transferred to the phone, it's a sequence of a party, perhaps. A simple and obvious task. How do I do this?
