Re: N96 8GB how to add movies.

Depends on your source files. If movie on DVD disc you'll first need to rip to HDD, I use DVDFab HD for this: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

These files will be quite large, movie itself will be over 4GB. To save space on HDD I convert backed up DVDs to AVI format at 1399MB with AutoGK: http://www.autogk.me.uk/ If this looks like what you need I can post back with user guide if required, it's simple setup. N.B. Conversions will take some time, at least runtime of source files.

To convert files to MP4 format for playback on phone SUPER converter is popular: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html  Refer to el loco's videoblog for conversion settings and other info: http://portablevideo.blogspot.com/

If movies already on HDD, eg. downloaded AVI files, just convert with SUPER.

Transfer MP4 movie to phone (My Videos) using USB data transfer mode(use "safely remove hardware" before disconnecting). Movie will appear in Video Centre.

 All programs mentioned are free.

Hope this helps.
