Does anyone else have a problem on the N8 that prevents them from recording video?

I've been using the phone since January and it has survived some heavy falls with only minor scratches and I'm very sad that this has happened and i can't put my finger on what i did wrong. I can take photos and manipulate the camera settings freely but once i swich it to video mode, it shows 'Unexpected error occured. Restart Phone'. I also notice that  the shutter closes once i switch it to video mode. The secondary camere works without any error.

If I were you, I would try doing a factory restore on my N8.

thats exactly what i did after the post. It solved the problem or so i thought until today. you think there is a way to fix it without formatting to factory defaults anytime i need to make a video? I was even careful not install any application i didnt need and to check the video recording after i installed any app but that is no way to live and i quickly got bored.

Go to the nearest Nokia Care Centre and ask them to check for you. N8 should with games & apps, this makes it an awesome phone.

i installed camera pro from ovi store and it fixed the problem
