Hi, all.

I am having 6710 Navigator which is avery good unit ,Specially when your are not facing the popular zoom bar problem. 

But the quality of the video recording isn`t so good (640x480 @15fps)

According to what I know ,In order to record aHigh Quality video you need agood Processor and agood camera.

My processor is 600MHz which isn`t far from the 680MHz HD recording N8.

And my camera is 5MP.

so is there asoftware or an application that can enhance the video recording?

Is there away to increase the frame rate or the resolution?

No way sorry... The N8 doesn't use the main processor for video recording AFAIK....

AFAIK- As far as I know

The camera capabilities are fixed to a very limited range. Your resolution is fixed as far as I know and not necessarily linked to the still image resolution. if it was then the N8 would definitely be able to take 1080p videos. the frame rate can be changed with software but only withing the hardware's limits. That's one of the improvements Anna brings to the N8 increased frame rate for the video capture. I doubt your phone's hardware is capable of doing what you want to do.

Software alone won't make that phone go from recording VGA videos to recording HD videos

So the resolution is limited and the frame rate is ahardware issue.
But Can I have the continous autofocus feature? Specially when it's available already in some barcode reader applications.

That should be possible if they decide to create such an update. It was also brought to the N8 via the Anna update. It's definitely a possibility now you just have to wait to see if Nokia makes such a decision

Nokia Declared that it won`t  produce another update for my phone.

So 3rd Party Applications is my only way.

I have never used any camera application besides the bar code reader. so I am not the best person to ask. I think it's clear on the description what features the app brings. Continuos auto focus is there which is what you are looking for.
I suggest you have a good look at the reviews; filter them so only those for your device appear and make your decision based on that.
Also see if there isn't a "lite" version of that app on OVI and try that out before purchasing.
I wish I could help you a little more to get what you want. That App is a bit expensive so I can't just suggest you buy it to try it out. Just think about it carefully the list of features looks great to me.
