I cant delete downloaded videos on my nokia X2:-(. Please help....

when you press the delete option, do you get any error message?

Yes,it shows the message "unable to delete".

those videos might be embedded with the firmware.
have you tried connecting the phone to the pc in the mass storage mode and then see if you can delete the videos from windows?

No i cant take any action on them.

But each and every video i download cant be deleted.

first try to restore the default settings.

Menu > Settings > Rest. fact.
sett. and from the following:
Settings only — Reset all preference settings without deleting any personal data.

then see if then you can delete any video, if not try to update the phone's firmware, but backup the contents using ovi suite, maybe there is a fix in a new version.

I tried those two, restoring does no good. And as far as the latest firmware is concerned there's no update for my nokia X2.

Could be database corruption. Assuming files are on memory card you could back up content to PC, then format the card from phone's file manager. That'll wipe everything including the indexes. As well as restoring media afterwards you'll need to reinstall any apps on card. (Easier way is just to delete the database files, but I don't know their location on X2).

the problem is solved i updated my firmware and now i can delete the videos.
