Last week everything worked fine. I made the update few days ago and then try to sync my photos on the pc.

I use Nokia Ovi Suite. When I press SYNC using usb connection a question pops up: Syncronize with nokia N97? I checked both items: copy Images, Sounds etc to your PC. Click ok and then Syncronized complete : 0 files succesufully copied , 0 files failed.

When i use Nokia photos and i click on Sync button : a popup appears : Syncronization Canceled. No explanation Nothing.

Please help.

I don't use Photos or OVI suite to tranfer photos so I can't really help you with that. But you could use Mass storage mode to copy your photos to your PC.

Working or not??? I am also having similar issues..

1. Whats the difference between Ovi Suite Sync option and the PC sync options that you have in programfiles-?Nokia->PC Sync in terms of functionality?

2. Also the PC Sync in program files is synching my calender, contacts but the Ovi Suite Sync option give me a message box in the end stating Calendar not synced and 0 files transfer, etc. i.e. nothing happens? What is the issue with this?

3. How can I Sync online? What needs to be done?

4. Lastly how can I sync my files and folders? what steps needs to be taken?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Same problem here, after the damn update I cant sync my pictures. Theres an 800 number in one of the manuals for customer support for n97 phones. I'm going to call them, I'm sure it's an update issue. You guys should try calling also. They've helped me with other previous issues.

I have the same problem - it worked once after installing - but because i have had problems before i only synced photos in the first attempt.
When i tried syncing messages it cancelled and does so everytime now - and nokia photos crashes...

Problems with syncing started after the latest update 20.xxx

I get the same error with my N95 8GB. It appeared suddenly, without any firmware update.

A PC suite for a Sony Ericsson phone was installed on the PC about the same time as the sync error started. Perhaps does the Sony Ericsson PC suite interfere with the Nokia PC suite?

Same here.. i have sync issue after installed Sony Ericsson PC suite. However, i already uninstall the Sony Ericsson PC suite, but the problem still persist.

same here and I've tried the following:

- Reinstall after full removal of Nokia Photos

- Hard reset phone with no backup restored

- Hard reset phone with an old backup restored

- Reinstall of latest firmware with no backup restored

- Reinstall of latest firmware with an old backup restored

I've also tried this on an XP pc and Vista PC, both work intermittently for a while then nothing, I've also tried multiple N97's and they are the same. 

I've decided, primarily due to the lack of support from Nokia, that this is my last Nokia phone.  In my opinion, shoddy phone software and badly written PC software has caused no end of customer dissatisfcation and I'm not putting up with it anymore.

Shame really, as the n97 had so much potential
